LICE-INFEGTED SHEEP.

CHARGES AT MORRINSVILLE. SEVERAL FARMERS CONVICTED. (Times Representative.) MORRINSVILLE, Wednesday. In the Morrinsville, Magistrate's Court to-day, before Mr S. 1,. Paterson, S.M., Iho Government Stock Inspector. Mr E. A. McKlnlay, brought forward several charges of exhibiting lice-infectcd sheep for sale in the Morrinsville saleyards. The total number of sheep involved in the prosecutions was 3205, and many of them were stated to have come from the East Coast districts. A. Law. S. N. Managli, Joseph Gales. A. Carrulh, A. L. Keith and C. A. Wilkinson were each fined £2 10s, with costs, and fines of 10s were imposed on Walter Thompson and Henry Ernest, R. t. F. E. Peacocke ami C. Barker. D. Douglas was convicted and ordered to pay costs.
