BOARD’B DIFFICULTIES. MINISTER SYMPATHETIC. (By Telesr"n , 'h —Pros* Association.l WELLINGTON, Tuesday. A sympathetic hearing was given by the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, to representations by a deputation from the Egmont Naiional Park Board. He undertook to consider giving the board permission to hold a district art union { n order that, it might meet its liabilities, and hinted at the possibility of taking legislative action to prevent 'the breeding of goats, which are causing destruction in the bush. The deputation asked for assistance ■in the payment of the final debt on the Plateau Road to the ski-ing grounds, 4000 feet up, and also requested the Government to assist the Dawson Falls Committee to pay £2OO incurred in replacing an electric light plant desiroved by fioort.
