The loyalists have evaouated the Teruel province and are retreating Into the Valencia province. Seven war prisoners esoaped from Pasajes, boarded the trawler Mirona Izguerua, and compelled the captain at revolver point to depart from Bayonne, where the prisoners surrendered themselves to the Spanish loyalists’ Consulate. The Government asked the Consul at Las Palmas to report regarding the Spanish rebel molestation of the Marechal Lyautey, but official circles regard the Incident as closed, Inasmuch as the Franco-Spanish Consular Convention of 1862 permits the police of either country to board a ship and arrest their nationals.
