The first death of an adult in Melbourne from infantile paralysis occurred to-day. The victim was & man 28 years of age. Three new cases have been reported, bringing the total to 67. There have been seven deaths. Today’s developments included a ban on all matineee at picture theatres in the metropolitan area and the exclusion of all children under the age of 16 from theatres.
