STABLE WINS £3,755 IN STAKES. ACHIEVEMENT OF SANDY DIX. PRINCE ACRE DOES WELL. The success of 'Sandy Dix in the Great Northern Hurdles marked the second successive occasion on which jumping honours came to Te Rapa and credit is due to A. Winder for the splendid condition in which the Sandstar gelding was produced for that gruelling contest. Sandy Dix won during the season £BBO out of the stable total of £3,755. Of the nine races he contested he won two and finished in the money on a similar number of occasions. Prince Acre experienced a busy season. facing the starter 24 times, winning four races and finishing in minor places ou five occasions for £Bl (l. Merial won twice and accounted for £540 in her 15 starts while that promising hack. Pirate King, who sprang a surprise on the first day of the Wai-

kato Summer meeting, collected £BO2 for the, two races he won, the second being at the To Aroha gathering following on ills initial success here. Race Call (£190), La Femme Noire (£185), May Song (£185), -Square Acre (£180). Susan (£163), Raoewhlp, v £ 1601. Racette (£95), Poland (£6O), Royal Mistake (£2O), and Tui Nui (£lo\ were the other stake earners of the establishment.
