POSTPONEMENT OF TRIAL. FEAR OF DEMONSTRATIONS. MANY PASTORS IN CUSTODY. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. (Received August 10, 11 a.m.) BERLIN, Aug. 9. The trial of Rev. M. Niemoeller has been indefinitely postponed, presumably owing to the fear of further demonstrations. Those arrested totalled 40 men and 75 women. Secret police drove up in lorries Into which • they herded the prisoners. It Is also announced that 64 Protestant pastors are In custody.
