NAZI JOURNALISTS

MINISTER’S WARNING. IMPROPER ACTIVITY ALLEGED. SUSPECTED OF ESPIONAGE. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. LONDON, August 6. The Dally Chronicle says that the 'Home Office has refused two correspondents of a Berlin newspaper, the Lokal Anzelser, also a representative of the Grafreichschach News Agency, permission to stay in Britain, alleging "improper activities.” The Daily Chronicle adds that when the British Government made its original complaint the Berlin authorities assumed that it was journalistic work which was disapproved but Whitehall had now convinced them the Nazi Journalists had been at least indiscreet and even espionage was suspected. Their case would be the subject of Anglo-German negotiations.
