PUKEMIRO NOTES.
ENJOYABLE EVENING. Mrs Chappell entertained a number of friends at her residence at Pukemiro recently, when a very enjoyable evening was spent. The winners at the card table were Mrs McLaughlin »nd Mr J. Braun. The proceeds were in aid of the Pukemiro Catholic Church. WHIST DRIVE. The usual whist drive arranged by the School Committee was held in the Miners’ Hall, the winners being Mrs Peden and Mr J. Braun.
