APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER. LONG TERM IN SERVICE. United press Assn— Elec. Tel. Copyright. SYDNEY, August 7. The State Cabinet has appointed Mr C. N. Neale 'Commissioner for Road Transport and Tramways, In succession to Mr Maddocks, at a salary of £2500 a year. Mr Neale joined the tramway service In 1896 as an offloe boy at a salary of 10s a week.
