They travelled at a last pace and both jumped well, with Ethiop showing a special advantage over most of the obstacles., Maealt'ein and Lucidus went once round over tlie schooling fences. , Lucidas jumped well hut Macaiireln hit the first fence hard and blundered again at the second fence of the double but got 1 round safely. Tne morning’s work was completed with a school over the steeplechase course. 1 Irish Comet ;ind Brigauore went once round starting with a short run into Cutts’ rente which both jumped very well. Brigadoro seemed to outjump Irish Comet over one or two or the obstacles, especially Cults’ the second time, hut Irish Comet was very sale, ii was an excellent exhibition of clean jumping by both horses.
