INFANTILE PARALYSIS.
OUTBREAK IN MELBOURNE. 16 CASES THIS WEEK. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyrlgli MELBOURNE, August 6. Sixteen cases of infantile paralysis were reported in Melbourne this week, bringing the total to 58. There have been six deaths. Cases are coming from all the suburbs and schools are being closed as they occur. One case is reported from a country district 45 miles from Melbourne. Country residents are appealing to the authorities to prevent children travelling from affected areas.
