THE BARRYMORES RECONCILED. INTENTION TO RE-MABRY - . LOS ANGELES, July 1. John Barrymore and his fourth wife, formerly Elaine Barrie, aged 20, who separated in January a few weeks after their marriage, met to-day in Los Angeles railway station, as Elaine returned from a stage tour. “I love you,” cried Barrymore. “And I love only you,” replied -Elaine, stepping into his arms and giving him an ardent kiss. Elaine said that she would apply for dismissal of the Interlocutory decree of divorce which she obtained in April. “We Will Remarry.” “We just can’t live without each other,” she said. “We found that out as soon as we separated.” Barrymore added, “You cm 6ay we are still in love and will remarry as soon as I have {finished “Bulldog Drummond Gomes Back." "It is safer to remarry, although the dismissal of Elaine’s decree would
make the ceremony superfluous.” This modern Romeo answered Shakespeare's description of a lovelorn swain, for his suit was crumpled and he was without a tie. He wants Elaine to appear with him in wireless Shakespearean skits which he is doing.
