Mrs A. R. Clark, of Hamilton, will leave this evening on a visit to Dunedin. * * * * Mrs A. J. White, of Hamilton, is on a brief visit to Auckland. Miss E. Baldwin, of Rototuna, has returned from a holiday in the Bay of Plenty. • * • • Mrs W. H. Murch has returned to Pahiatua after spending a holiday in Hamilton. • * * * Mrs A. J. Butler, of (Hamilton, is visiting Pahiatua and is the guest of her daughter, Mrs W. H. Murch. Miss C. M. I. Hill, of Bristol, England, was a visitor to Hamilton yesterday. • * * * Misses N. Simpson (’Wellington), A. Humphries (New Plymouth) and J. Staples (Auckland) are at the Midland. Mrs F. Slater,* of Palmerston North and well-known in Hamilton, has planned a holiday to the East, and is leaving shortly by a Dutch liner to take the round trip up the Australian coast to Singapore and back through the Molucco Islands. Miss Alice J. Greville has been appointed infant mistress at the Matamata Primary School. Some years ago Miss Greville was teacher of backward children at the Hamilton West School and was well known in Hamilton for her activities in connection with women’s organisations, the Labour Party, and the Workers’ Educational Association.
