DOMINION CONTROL. REBATE OF AFFILIATION FEES. (By ToWr.inh r-o«o » CHRISTCHURCH. Thursday. A rebate of all affiliation fees payable to the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association for the last season by constituent centres was approved at a meeting to-night of Hie council of the association, on the recommendation of a sub-committee that I had been set up to consider what action should be taken. Only one centre had paid the affiliation fee for last season, it was reported, and fees that | would be remitted amounted to about £l7O. I The New Zealand senior swimming | championship meeting will be held in j New Plymouth on January 8. 10 ami I 12. according to a decision made by I the council. The dates originally fixed I were January 5, G and 8. and Hie, change was made at the request of Hie Taranaki centre. The council also decided to recog- I nise ns a Dominion intermediate girls’ ; record the performance of Miss A. J. McDonald, of Invercargill, in swimming. 100 yards in 77 4-ss. The record was! created in June at Invercargill.
