MILITARY AERODROME.

AUCKLAND SURVEY MADE. SUITABLE SITE SELECTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Thursday. A survey which has been carried out by the Public Works Department in the vicinity of the township and school at Mangere Central indicates the possibility of a new military aerodrome for Auckland City. The residents on whose property the survey has been made have been notified and further investigations will be" carried out in the near future. It is considered likely that an area of about 90 acre« will be required. Mangere Central Is beyond the range of attacking warships from either coast.
