KITCHEN EVENING.

FOR MISS JOYCE FAGAN. A large number of Miss Joyce Fagan’s friends gathered at the Motumaoho Hall on Saturday to tender her a kitchen evening, In view of her approaching marriage. Mr. W. F. Stark expressed the best wishes of those present, and asked Miss Fagan to accept the many gifts. He also mentioned that Miss Fagan hadi been a willing helper in the Motumaoho Women’s Institute and other organisations in the district. Mr. H. Isherwood responded on behalf of his fiancee and musical honours were accorded. The evening was spent in dancing, music being played by Miss A. Ferguson, Messrs. W. Phillips, E. Hoskin and A. Ferguson. Mr. A. Ferguson was M.G. Supper was served by the ladies.
