PROPHECY CONFIRMED.

PALESTINE AND SCRIPTURES. | A picture of seven world empires of past history, from Egypt to Rome, was presented by Dr. C. J. Rolls, in-ternationally-known lecturer, when speaking in Hamilton last evening on "Prophecy Confirmed by Photography.’’ The lecturer pointed out the relation between these empires and Palestine. Scripture gave an accurate forecast of their rise, duration and fall. The lecturer had visited all the empires and he presented pictures which, be claimed, showed that, statements made in Ihe Did Testament had been realised. On the basis of evidence It could be assured that statements of future developments were just as sure of realisation and at present affairs iu Palestine indicated that the time for realisation was at hand, stated Dr. Rolls. To-nlghPs Lecture. "The Scenic Beauties and Historic Rt till 53 of Pales ■ ne” will form the subject of Dr. Rolls’ lecture to-night. Physically Palestine is the most beautiful counlry in the world, contends t»he leclurer, and. he will outline Its features in his address.
