What was believed to be the biggest bear in the Balkans, which had long terrorised villages, was tracked and killed by Miaka Jovanovitch. It weighed nearly 9001 b, and was over eight feet in length. Peasants from miles around came to the scene to kiss Jovanovitch's hand and he was feted for several days.
