INSTITUTE’S CONFERENCE. (By Teleg r » r »ii—T”-pc<, *qc;or'.int'nri ) WELLINGTON, Monday. The New Zealand Institute of Public. Administration's second annual conference concluded on Friday. The’ conference decided to award biennially a medal for the best study in public administration. The desirability of University instruction in the higher fields of’public administration was emphasised. Professor T. A. Hunter expressed appreciation of the institute’s efforts in this direction. Officers elected were President, Mr J. n. Robertson; vice-presidents, Messrs W. D. Arndt. S. T. Barnett, A. McCarthy, N. R. Mclsaac and Dr. A. G. Rulcliers; national executive, Hr. Rulcliers and Messrs F. R. Stephens, W. Stewart and G. L. Agarsecretary. Mr c. A. McFarlane; treasurer, Mr 11. Ormrod.
