NORTH AUCKLAND FIXTURE. TO-MORROW’S BIG SALE. High producing Jerseys of outstanding type will be on offer at "Vernon,” Wharepapa, North Auckland, to-morrow, when the unreserved sale of "Vernon” Jerseys will be 'held. The entry will comprise 5 stud cows, with records up to 482.70 lb. fat, 36 rising 2-year in-calf heifers, 5 stud bulls, 11 yearling bulls, 5 yearling heifers and 10 bull calves. The 2year heifers are a really high clas3 line, while the 11 yearling bulls are all from tested dams and include a son of Vernon Queen’s Noble V.11.C. The "Vernon” stud, the property of Mr G. R. Hutchinson, has always been noted for its high production Jerseys, a fact that has been brought about by the ruthless culling of all low producers and the retention of the best. Few studs In New Zealand can claim to be more thoroughly tested and enjoy such a consistently high standard of the two essentials in the Jersey cow—type and production. Incorporating tlie leading blood lines of the world, the “Vernon” stud stands high in the Dominion's foremost studs, and the sale to-morrow should attract a large and representative bench of buyers. The sale will be conducted by the Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, in conjunction with tlie North Auckland Farmers’ Co-operative Ltd.
