The British Boxing Board of Control has decided to recognise the coming contest between Louis and Farr as an eliminating match for the world's heavy-weight championship, the winner to meet Schmeling. A peculiar position will arise if Farr beats Louis, who is regarded as world’s champion by America, but not by Britain.
