LADIES’ NIGHT.

HAMILTON ORPHANS* CLUB. HAPPY TIME SPENT. Multi-coloured balloons, bowls of vivid Iceland poppies and massed greenery lent a gay note to the Winter Show Hall on Saturday evening, when the second ladies’ night of the session was held by the Hamilton Orphans’ Club. There was a large number present and the evening was a singularly pleasant one, an interesting programme being warmly appreciated. Mrs. R. iR. Paterson, wife of the president, was wearing a frock of midnight blue crepe suede and white fur ooatee, and Mrs. A. E.
