Mr R. Coulter, M.P. for Waikato, Is visiting Auckland. Bishop Brodle will leave Christchurch on August 19 for Australia to attend the National Synod In Sydney. Mr Cyril Paget, of Hamilton, will leave on Tuesday by the Maunganui on a cruise of the South Pacific Islands. Mr G. R. AsTitoridge, secretary to the New Zealand Education Institute, will leave Wellington on Augiust 5 for Sydney to start a world tour. The congregation of St. Andrew’s Church, Blenheim, has decided to address a call to the Rev. A. C. Whitelaw, of Te Awamutu. Major A. Hildreth, of the Headquarters Staff of the Salvation Army, Auckland, and Mr J. Hildreth, senr., of Wellington, are visiting Hamilton. Messrs L. Hames (Stratford), A. Wakelin (Whangarel), E. R. MoTaggard (Wellington), A. H. Brinkman and L. Clarke (Auckland) are at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr W. H. Kerrldge, examiner for the Trinity College of Music, London, visited Morrinsville this morning and will visit Matamata this afternoon. He is at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr T. A. Moodie, manager of the Napier branch "t 1 the company, has been appointed superintendent for New Zealand by Messrs Dalgcty and Company, in succession to the late Mr George Black. Hr. A. Corban, of the staff of the Tnkanul Mental Hospital, was farewelled recently prior to his departure for Hokitika, at a large gathering of the staff and residents of the district, in the Te Mawtiai Hall. He was presented with a travelling rug, leather suitcase and illuminated address, and many tributes were paid to his ability, hospitality and kindness.
