It is not known at present how many teams will be competing, but interest has always been keen and full representation of the district is expected. On August 8 the town players will compete with a team selected from the clubs in the South Auckland district. No doubt the city clubs will be well represented this year, as the majority of the players will be competing In the New Zealand amateur championships later In the year. The country players have always provided good competition and they will also be keen to do well this year. South Auckland Tournament.
