No Romance In Shirley Temple Film. Shirley Temple will, for the first time, be relieved of a grown-up romance interest in “ Heidi." This is a Swiss story, and Shirley gets mature but unromantic support from Jean Hersholt, Violet Kemble Cooper, and Mady Christians. The House Sold Out! The seven-weeks’ Gilbert and Sullivan season at Sadler’s Wells, London, opened with " The Gondoliers.” When the box office opened the first night was sold out within a few hours. Another Girl Singer.
