MOUNTAINSIDE RESCUE. LORD TWEEDSMUIR’S ORDEAL. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. VANCOUVER, July 29. A message from Fort Norman states that Lord Tweedsmulr, when returning; from a sub-Arctio tour, narrowly escaped a fall.
He was mountain climbing when a ledge gave way. He clung to an overhanging branoh of a tree until he w r as resoued by a guide. Two members of the party were in peril on a ledge for two hours, and were re-soued by Indians with ropes.
