ARRANGEMENTS FOR RECEBB. THE PRIME MINISTER’S HOLIDAY. GUEST OF THE KING. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyrlg/.t. (Receive'd July 30, i p.m.) LONDON, .. In order to conclude all outstanding business before the Parliamentary recess the Cabinet held two meetings. No farther meetings will be arranged after the end of this week, but Ministers within reach of London will be recalled should occasion arise. Mr Neville Chamberlain will spend a holiday in Scotland, and for a time will bo the King’s guest at Balmoral. Viscount Hallsham will visit Rio De Janeiro and Buenos Aires. The Hon. Walter Elliott hopes to go to Canada. Most Ministers, however, will spend the vacation in Britain. Completlo .of Programme. With the exception of a motion for the third reading of the Consolidated Fund Bill, which will be passed in the House of Commons to-night, the whole of the Government’s legislative programme has been completed.
The House of Commons will adjourn to-morrow, and it is anticipated that the Spanish situation will be the principal subject of discussion on the adjournment motion.
