WISDEN CUP CHALLENGE.
PLAY IN HAMILTON. GREAT MATCH EXPECTED. One of the finest sporting attractions that Hamilton has enjoyed for some time can be expected to-morrow when the Waikato badminton representatives will meet the Auckland representatives in a challenge for the Wisden Cup. The trophy, which is the emblem of inter-provinoial supremacy in the Dominion, Is at present held by Auckland, and the Waikato team is expected to make a great attempt to win this season. The match will be played in the Bledisloe Hall, Hamilton, to-morrow afternoon and evening as the Auckland officials and players recognise that the facilities offered in this hall are the best available in the Dominion. Last year this match was also played in Bledisloe Hall, Auckland winning by a substantial margin, but, with the surface greatly improved and the Waikato players having much more opporlunity to play in the hall, the visitors will find they will have no easy task to-morrow. Excellent Players. The players In both teams are in Ihe top flight of badminton In the Dominion, and with the New Zealand championships yet to be played, more than usual interest will be attached to the results. The strongest possible teams have been selected to represent both centres. In the Waikato team, H. Fow Is the present Auckland singles champion and an ex-New Zealand title-holder, while A.
