NEW BRITISH MINESWEEPER LAUNCHED.
Great Britain's latest minesweeper, ihe H.M.S. Leda, is shown as it was launched at Hevonporl, England. As the ship slid gracefully down Ihe slipway |o the sea, a model swan on a long festoon was cast over the bows, following ttic naming of the ship in association with Greek mythology and the swans which were pets of the Goddess Leda.
