FERTILISER INDUBTRY. STATE CONTROL UNLIKELY. (liy Telegraph—Prc« \**r.ctntton> AUCKLAND, Thursday. The New' Zealand Farmers’ Fertiliser Company held Its annual meeting today. The chairman. Mr A. A. Ross, said the company had had the best year since 1030. Reports had been circulated in regard to the Government’s attitude towards the fertiliser industry. Ho did not think for a moment that the Government had any intention of taking over the Industry, which was well organised and economically conducted. The prices of fertilisers had below pre-war values.
