BRITISH COAL-MINES.
BIG INCREASE IN PRODUCTION RECORD YEAR EXCEEDED. (Official Wireless.) RUGBY. July 27. A remarkable increase has takes place in the output of tlie British coalmines. The figures show an Increase from 208.000.000 tons in 1933 to 228.000.000 tons in 1936. The amount for the first six months of the present year is 121,000.<T00 tons. Home Consumption has more than compensated for the fall in exports, | and now exceeds the record year of i 1913.
