SHEEP DOG COMPETITION.
AGRICULTURAL. SHOW FEATURE. A letter was received from a member of the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association, Mr A. Parkin, of Hamilton, at Its meeting to-day, suggesting that a special competition be arranged for working sheep dogs at the show this year. It was thought by several members that it would be difficult to obtain sufficient entries, as shearing would then be in progress. Mr R. A. Hinton, who presided, considered it would be a good idea to arrange tho event. It was deoided to agree to the proposal if sufficient entries could be obtained. A committee consisting of Messrs . A. Parkin, J. Broad, and H. Martin was set up.
