TE AWAMUTU NEWS.
MUSICAL EVENING. Another member of the "Six” Club, Mrs L. G. Armstrong, gave an enjoyable musical evening at her residence in Te Awamutu on Monday, the prooeeds being in aid of the Beautifying Soolety. The moms had been very tastefully decorated with wallflowers and spring bulbs. During the evening Items were given by Mrs M. Sullivan, Mrs S. Woods, Mrs Alan Kay, Mrs J. Oliphant, and Mr Whyte, which were much appreciated by the guests. Community singing and competitions were also muoh enjoyed. Airs Armstrong reoelved her guests wearing a frock of brown wool georgette. Among those present were :—Mesdames K. Hlskens, M. Sullivan, H. Steer, L. Dunn, J. Hawkins, J. 1011phant, H. Reese, E. Potts, A. J. Tallly, i Alan Kay, Alan Bond, T. Nicholson, Walter Locke, E. Downes, S. Wood, C. W. Morey, and Miss Jean Elliot.
