LONDON MARKET FIRM. DAIRY BOARD’S REPORT. The London market for New Zealand butter was Arm at the close of last week. By arrangement with the Primary Products Marketing Department the following information is supplied for the week ended July 24, figures for the previous week being given in parentheses:— Butter.—New Zealand salted, 116 s to 117 s (115 s) ; unsalted, 117 s (115 s). Deliveries: New Zealand, 1987 tons (last year, 1447 tons) ; in store, 5135 tons (last year, 4087 tons). Australian, salted and unsalted, 115 s to 116 s (113 sto 11 is). Deliveries: Australian, 1440 tons (last year, 1091 tons). The market is firm. New Zealand retail price unchanged, Is 2d. Irish, cream, salted, 117 s (115 s); Danish, 104 s f.0.b., 124 s spot (103 s, 1225) ; Dutch, unsalted, Ills to 113 s (109 s to 110 s); Siberian, salted, Ills 6d to 112 s (107 s to 109 s). Ukranian, salted, Ills 6d to U2s (107 s to 109 s); Lithuanian, salted, 113 s (110 s). The market Is Arm. Danish retail price unchanged, Is 2d. The Imperial Economic Committee has estimated stocks of all butters in store at 890,173 boxes (last year, 983,674 boxes).

Cheese. —New Zealand, white, 74s to 74s 6d (72s to 72s Gd); coloured, 71s 6d to 72s (70s). Deliveries: New Zealand, 19,755 crates (la&t year, 18,383 crates) ; in store, 42,050 crates (last year, 89,123 crates). The market is Arm at the advance. New Zealand retail price unchanged, 9d to iOd. Australian, white, 72s to 73s (80s to 81s); coloured, 70s ( —); Canadian, white, 72s to 73s 6d ( —) ; coloured, 72s (—); c.i.f., 71s (70s); old season’s, white and coloured, 80s ( —). Deliveries: Canadian, 5093 crates (last year, 4980 crates) ; In store, 84,073 crates (last year, 59,163 crates). English factory, 70s to 70s 6d (67s to 725). The market is Arm. ___
