NORTH CANTERBURY INCREASES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.l CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. Nurses In the employ of Ihe North Canterbury Hospital Board are in many Instances lo get salary Increases. The new salaries range from £37 10s a year for a pupil nurse (old scab* £3o' to £95 for a registered nurse (old scale £75). Increases arc provided for first and second year sisters, making the sal-
aries £l2O and £l3O respectively. The maximum for sisters is £IBO in the seventh year with £2OO after 15 years and £220 for night sisters.
