EXTENSION OF SUMMER RECESS. TO RESUME ON OCTOBER 21. (Official Wireless.) RUGBY, July 26. When Parliament adjourns next Friday for the summer recess, which will extend to 'October 21, the customary arrangements will be made by which it will be possible for the Lord Chancellor and the Speaker, after consultation with the Government should the need arise, to recall the two Houses at an earlier date. According to the present intentions the sitting on October 21 will be largely formal as all the necessary business will have been transacted by Die end of this week. Parliament thereupon will be prorogued and Ihe King will open a new session on Tuesday, October 20. This will be the first occasion since Ids accession that the King will have gone to Westminster to open Parliament with the pageantry customary to the occasion.
