GROUND WILL MASTER AIR.
THE PROBLEM OF MASS TERRORISM PREVENTION OF THE SLAUGHTER OF CIVILIANS (United Press Assn. —Eloo. Tel. Copyright.) (Received July 28, 12.35 p.m.) LONDON, July 27. In the House of Commons Mr Winston Churchill said if the world could have ten, eight or even seven years of peace he would hazard the opinion that the ground would master the air, and the problem ®f a marauding aeroplane slaughtering the civil population and seeking to blackmail nations out of their liberties by mass terrorism would be solved. Sir T. Inskip answered that the Government was engaged in devising air defence measures which, he hoped, would secure immunity in an even less period than that mentioned by Mr Churchill.
