On account of the serious shortage of West Coast bitumenous coal in Wellington as a result of the difficulty id obtaining transport through the weather and bar oonditions on the 'vest Coast, the Minister of Mines, the jlon 1> C. Webb, has made arrange a,cuts for the 'Railway Department to make 1 r.O tons of coal available to V\ ellington de tiers.
