TE AWAMUTU FUNCTION.
BASKETBALL DANCE. A basketball dance was given In the Te Awamutu Town Hall on Saturday evening by athletic teams. Red, white and blue streamers were used In the decoration of the hall, whlje the teams’ colours, green and black, were used in Hie supper-room. Black’s Orchestra played excellent ■music and Mr 11. Benton was M.C. During the evening novelty dances were won by Allss G. Bowden and partner, and Aliss L. Ilarding and partner. Among those present were:—Alesdames Nokea, J. Nobes and C. Cave.
