CAMBRIDGE CLUB’S GAMES. ALFORD CUP TO G. HAMILTON. The second and final round of the Alford Cup bogey competition was plaved •by members of the Cambridge Oolf Club on Saturday, G. Hamilton winning on the aggregate with a score of one down. S. Baker, who led on the first round, was runner-up, being two over bogey, Saturday’s results were:—F. C. Rogers 4 up, G. Hamilton i up, S. Baker 8 down, E. Scott 3 down, F. Entwisle 5 down. MATAMATA CLUB. RESULTS OF WEEK-END PLAY. Although the weather was unpleasant, members of the Matamata Golf Club played a Canadian foursome on Saturday. The best results were: R. Cleary and C. Wilson, 695. During the week-end pairs competed in an 18-hole medal handicap. The best scores were: H. Keeley and Wight 14 3. N. Johnston and J. Corbett 150, Wilson and Hay 15 3, Campbell and Dr. Abernethy 154, C. Tapp and Hemsley 155, W. L. McDonald and S. Blue 15 5. Matches played In the Old Parr Cup competition resulted: G. Campbell lost to L. Sutcliffe, 3 and 2; L. Little lost to N. Gllltng, 1 down (replay). The Matamata ladles played a club medal on Thursday, when tthe winner was Mrs Ryan with 102, 29, 73.
