CALEDONIAN SOCIETY.
CAMBRIDGE DANCE AND CONCERT. Although only established comparatively recently, the Cambridge Caledonian Society is already a flourishing body, and a dance and concert held in the Parish Hall recently proved a very successful function. Visitors were present from Hamilton and surrounding districts, and with a large number of local members enjoyed a pleasant evening.
The first part of the evening was devoted to an entertaining programme, items being given as follows: Pipe solo. Piper Williams; vocal solos, Mrs R. Wild, Miss C. Griffin. Mr G. James and Mr H. Andrew; elocution. Miss Margaret McCathie and Miss Anderson; Highland dances. Miss Lee and Misses M. Webb and M. Wallace, and Master E. Webb. The accompanist was Miss liwcnda Niekle.
