Rainfall for 46 hours ended 9 o'clock this morning, l.Olin. Rainfall for previous 24 hours, .OOin. Rainfall for July to date, 1.71in. Average rainfall for July, 4.83in. Rainfall for year to date, 26.70in. Average yearly rainfall, 46.32in. SPECIAL FORECAST. (By Govt. Meteorologist). The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist covering the WalkutoThames Valley Is as follows: Forecast: Moderate to strong southerly to southwesterly winds. Weather cold and changeable with passing showers. Seas rather rough to rough. General inference: A complex depression crossed the Dominion during the weekend, and a rather deep centre is located north of Chatham Island to-day. A secondary depression is crossing the southern portion of the South Island. An intense anticyclone covers most of Australia, and is extending on to the north Tasman Sea.
