In a -wrestling matoh last evening, Joe 'Savoldl and Sootty Mclntyre collided In the ring at the Leichhardt Stadium. Both men collapsed and could not continue. The match was drawn. MATCH AT AUCKLAND. MoC READY DEFEATS INDIAN. AUCKLAND, Monday. In a strenuous and attractive wrestling display on Saturday Earl McCready, if>st. 121 b., secured a points decision over Chief Little Wolf, 16st., after each man had secured a fall. The men were evenly matched and a large crowd -witnessed some fine wrestling. There was little showmanship, both contestants being content for the greater part to rely on solid methods. COX DEFEATS BLOMFIELD. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Sunday. After eight rounds of spectacular wrestling King Kong Cox gained a points decision over Blomfield last evening. Cox scored In the seventh round with a dump and he had all the better of matters in the last round. Up to the seventh round points were fairly even. SPELLMAN BEATS MARSHALL. A professional wrestling bout last evening between John Spellman, America, 15st. 31b., and Floyd Marshall, Canada, 17st. 21b., was won by Spellman, who was awarded & penalty fall in the sixth round.
