HORSES AT MATAMATA.
GOOD VALUES REALISED. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having held a horse' sale at Matamata on Thursday, when a good yarding of unbroken and broken horses came forward to a full bench of buyers. The advertised line of 20 norses on acoount of Messrs. Crabb Bros, came forward In good condition and sold readily, 18 out of the 20 offered averaging £42 17s. Useful farm sorts were in demand and sold If anything better than the heavy sorts. The whole yarding was composed of 60 broken draught horses, all good sorts, 15 light harness and hacks and 37 unbroken, mostly useful horses. Top price In the broken seotlon was £SB 10s for an outstanding bay mare Byrs. t any trial, and In the unbroken seotlon £34 for a useful rising, 3yr filly.
