FALL OF COAL.

MINER SEVERELY INJURED. GREYMOUTH. Friday. Mr Walter Wright, a miner, whll# working in the Liverpool State Colliery to-day, was injured by a fall of coal when the timber set collapsed. Mr Wright was buried to the neck. The rescuers noticed another fall coming, and saved Mr Wright from suffocation by placing timber around his head. He was extricated after naif an hour, severely cut about the face and head and suffering from an abdominal injury as well. His recovery is expected.
