The All-Australian Trades Union Congress adopted what Is regarded as practically the doctrines of the Communist Party in relation to International hostilities. By 79 to 48 votes it rejected a proposal to re-afilrm the 1935 resolution against participation in overseas wars, in favour of a policy of organising the masses against war and supporting the principle of collective security through the League of Nations.
