Herr Hitler has assured a decree imposing a special defence tax, by which every man liable for active service, with an income of over £4 a month will have to pay a proportion of his wages until the age of 45. The lax will range up to 50 per cent, of his income lax for the first three years, down to 6 per cent, thereafter.
