WIFE MURDER CHARGE.

ACCUSED UNFIT TO PLEAD. GROUNDS OF INSANITY. (Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Saturday. A verdict that It found accused Insane and unfit to plead was returned by the Jury in the Supreme Court yesterday in the case in which William Percy Gage-Brown (70) was charged with murdering his wife, Mary Elizabeth Gage-Brown, on April 5, at their residence at Epsom. Mr Justice Callan granted an applcation by counsel that a Jury be empanelled to consider accused's ability to plead on the Indictment.

After medical evidence supporting the application, the Jury returned the verdict without retiring.
