THE DOGWOOD BLOSSOMS.
When spring brings back the halo To the dogwood tree, I will rise and follow, If you beckon me. As the blossoms whiten On the dogwood tree, - So my heart will brighten, If you summon me. When the dogwood’s wearing Flowers of bridal hue, I will join your faring— I will follow you. When dogwood boughs are hidden By shining stars and new, I will come, if bidden— Come in love to you.
