The Box King.
AN EXCITING GAME.
Here is an exciting game for all of Peter's boy members to play with I heir little friends. Two wooden boxes are placed a suitable distance apart. The two players stand one on each of these with a pole, at Ihe end of
a pole, at Hie end or which is tied a solid bundle of rags, 60 that the end of the pole is not hard. And now .ihe aim Is to knock Ihe other player ofT his box. Beware of petting too excited, and hitting with the poles; neither may the players aim at one another’s faces. When American Scouts play tin’s gama It is very exciting. 4 of rags. Ihe end of the pole is p«<lded with a boxing glove, and the players have to balance on tallc barrels, which do not provide a very large surface to stand on. The first one to touch the ground lias lost. The other one challenges a new opponent, and Ihe last to remain standing on his box is called the ” Box King."
